Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Maternity Leave - 18 month contract

Region: Central Elgin, St. Thomas and Southwold Township

Description: We are currently recruiting for a RPN to fill a maternity leave vacancy for a period
of 18 months.


  •         Registered Practical Nurse diploma from a recognized institution
  •         Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  •         2 years relevant clinical practice, experience in a community health environment an asset
  •         Current certification in CPR
  •         Low German speaker preferred
  •         Strong communication and organizational skills, strength in critical thinking and problem solving
  •         Solid computer skills including previous experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
  •         Able to work flexible hours
  •         Ability to respond in a positive way to demanding issues and project a welcoming, friendly personality
  •         Completion of a satisfactory Police
  •         Vulnerable Sector Check prior to commencing employment is required
  •         Valid Ontario driver’s licence


Salary: To be negotiated

Terms of Employment: Full time temporary – 18 month maternity leave
