Administrative Assistant

The Central Community Health Centre (CCHC) is seeking qualified applicants for the pivotal role of Administrative Assistant. If you are highly organized and inspired by the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging community health care setting where you will put your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with people to use on a daily basis, you will want to learn more about this role.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact or the “face of CCHC” for its clients. You will be responsible for greeting, and directing clients, in person and on the telephone. You will also maintain and file client charts and other client records, manually and/or electronically. Scheduling client, specialist and diagnostic testing appointments, maintaining a referral directory and an inventory of required forms, organizing mail and related paperwork are just some of your other responsibilities. You will also ensure the reception area(s) at CCHC are clean, tidy and stocked with relevant, and appropriate information.
