  Job Description:

The Clinical Office Assistant is the first point of contact and must have excellent organizational skills, and good time management; ability to multi-task; work efficiently and effectively; be a team-player and keep a positive attitude.

  • Front desk responsibilities: answering phones, greet visitors, respond to inquiries, relay calls and messages

  • Schedule clients; specialist and diagnostic testing appointments using EMR; make reminder calls; fax prescriptions; photocopy; print documents

  • Prepare, maintain, update, retrieve, track and file charts and other client records, manually and/or electronically

  • Maintain a current referral directory

  • Maintain service providers’ schedules in consultation with providers

  • Receive incoming mail, coordinate distribution, and process outgoing mail

    Qualifications:

    Three to five years’ administrative and customer service experience preferably in a health care setting. Proficiency in the use of computers, various software including Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records and office equipment; ability to work in a fast paced environment; maintain a professional attitude and project a welcoming attitude.

Position: Social Media Assistant STUDENT - 1 position - 16 week contract beginning May 07, 2018* Funding Dependent *

 Region: Central Elgin, St. Thomas and Southwold Township

Description:  We are currently recruiting for a temporary Social Media Assistant position for a 16 week contract. The Assistant will be responsible for: designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications plan; contributing to the website; promoting and developing relationships with media partners; creating media advisories; developing corporate contact lists; developing and supporting a social media presence; creating presentations for use in the community.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment

  • Was registered as full-time post-secondary student during the preceding academic year and returning in the next academic year to full-time studies

  • Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and;

  • Is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial regulations

  • Field of study: Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent

  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with strength in critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skill

  • Solid computer skills including previous experience with multiple platforms of Social Media, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

 Description:  We are currently recruiting for a temporary receptionist position for a 16 week contract. The receptionist will be the first point of contact, and will ensure the efficient and effective operations of the reception area. S/he will ensure a professional presence is presented to all who visit or deal with the CCHC, and ensure clients and other visitors feel welcome, safe and comfortable while visiting.

Full-time & Part-time Primary Care Physician

The Central Community Health Centre (CCHC) is currently recruiting for one permanent full-time (1 FTE) and one permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) Primary Care Physcian.

Physicians work as members of a team that include Nurse Practitioners, nurses, social workers, physiotherapists and more. As salaried staff, physicians are able to focus on providing client care.
